What stops us today, ranked
Twelve mechanisms, each with the measurement behind it and the fix direction. The measured load (12 requests/s, 17 DB connections, two cores of real work) already fits a $200 box. These are the reasons the current code does not.
Fit check
Each component today against what it becomes on one 8 vCPU / 32 GB box plus a Postgres of 100–150 GB, and which blocker gates it.
